In a collaboration with "films for future" Festival, GreenBuzz will be presenting partner for the Swiss premiere of "Water is Love - Ripples of Regeneration".
About the film: In the midst of the global climate crisis, "Water is Love" follows a group of young people who share inspiring stories of regenerative ecosystem design. The film travels around the world and shows how communities, villages and regions can rebuild water reserves through decentralized water management.
The film highlights traditional ecological knowledge, the importance of water for the climate and the need to restore complete water cycles. Through successful projects in India, Kenya and Portugal, "Water is Love" shows how these approaches can inspire conversations and actions that contribute to a regenerative and resilient world.
In the face of the devastating effects of climate change and the failure of many governments to act, the film highlights the often overlooked importance of community-driven, decentralized water management. "Water is Love" is a powerful call to action and a tribute to all those who work tirelessly to protect and regenerate our planet.
Following the film screening, GreenBuzz will host a short panel discussion on the important topics the film raises.
About "films for future" Festival: The film festival aims to raise public awareness of environmental and sustainability issues. Over 50 films, including premieres and international productions, were shown in November 2022 and 2023 as well as at around 160 events. The events take place in various cinemas and locations in Zurich, some of them with panel discussions with speakers. A total of 13,255 people attended the events in 2022 and 2023, many of which were sold out.
